This week on the Your Revolution Podcast, Jane Erbacher addresses the question of contentment.

Contentment is defined as peaceful happiness and for so many of us, this is the ultimate goal: "I just want to feel content".

But what if I asked you if you were content with your life right now? And then I asked you if you were content being content?

For me life isn't simply peaceful happiness or smooth sailing. It's a challenge. It's ups and downs. It's excitement and growth. It's disappointment and pain.

But you don't get stronger or build resilience by staying the same and being content. You get stronger by getting uncomfortable and taking action. You get stronger by surviving traumas and our heartbreaks. You get stronger by wanting more and not settling.

If you're miserable, complaining, afraid or dissatisfied, stop waiting. Take action. Make changes. Don't settle for "content". Live.
