We live in a culture that values productivity and being busy above all else and as a result the pressure we feel to go go go can be overwhelming.

But how fulfilling is this really? To keep all of our life tabs open requires our focus and our focus requires our energy. When our focus and energy is divided, our results suffer and we wind up disengaged and exhausted.

Improving your ability to focus starts with prioritising that which is most important to you and eliminating the rubbish. Saying no and investing fully equals more commitment to less commitments and more commitment equals more fulfilment.

Everyday of your life is your life. What are you really missing by not paying attention to what is happening right now?

All the way from Tasmania, Nathan is one of the most likeable personal trainers out there. Recently completing his Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sport Science, and with a vast athletic history we are so lucky to have him on our team at Revo PT.
 
Nathan is not only a great trainer, he is a great guy with so much passion, enthusiasm and energy for his life. On a constant mission every day to better himself, Nathan has learnt at a young age the importance of learning every day, while surrounding himself with people he looks up to and is inspired by.

This week on the Revo PT podcast, Jane Erbacher talks about all things purpose. Sometimes we can get overwhelmed by the topic of purpose. We feel stuck if we don't have one and afraid that if we do it's not noble enough. Well I'm here to tell you now how you can not only find yours, but feel proud of it and live by it.

The first step is to set out your intentions for your life? What are the core beliefs or values you stand for? What's important to you and why?

Second step is to start living by these intentions every day.

Step three is to strive for betterment every day. In any way how can you be better today than you were yesterday?

This is how we find purpose. This is how we live our lives and this is how we create a lasting impact on the world around us.

What can you do right now that will make your life better? Have a look around. Who do you surround yourself with? Are the people in your life making it better or worse? And how are you contributing to their lives?

Who you surround yourself with says a lot about how much you value yourself. You deserve to be around people who love, respect and value you and now is the time to ensure that you are surrounded with the best.
