What should I eat? When should I eat it? How much? These are all questions I am asked multiple times a day. The majority of the population has the desire to change their body, yet somehow we keep getting bigger and bigger. Why is this?

Nutrition starts in the head. While short term diets, challenges and detoxes will no doubt yield results, most of these are unsustainable. How about instead of following yet another elimination diet which sets you up for failure, you try something new? Why don't you tune in to what your body really wants and needs and how it actually feels? Our body tells us everything, we just have to have the guts to listen and take action.

Your best body starts right here, but only if you want it.

Are you stuck in your comfort zone and can't see a way out? It's a funny thing our comfort zone because it is actually comfortable, and is comfortable even that bad? Well you tell me.

How would you rate your life? How passionate are you? Are you living intentionally? With purpose? How about your love? Relationships? Your career? Your body? Are you living unconsciously, waiting for 5 o'clock, waiting for the weekends, waiting for holidays?

How do you really feel?

Today's episode is about getting honest. Where are you now, where would you like to be and how are you going to get there?

Right or wrong sometimes life gets in the way of our grand plans and no amount of positive thinking can help. This last week I've been sick, Trump got elected and my computer got completely wiped. Not life-ending by any standards but for some reason I got seriously derailed.

Like an idiot I tried to push through. I ignored the messages my body was giving me - I mean I had things to do! - And as a result I got sicker.

It made me think that when life doesn't go according to plan this isn't always a bad thing! A derail offers us time for us to take stock of our lives and really assess whether where we are going is where we want to be going. It gives us a chance to rest and recuperate and it gives us an opportunity to withdraw from the pressure to always be ok.

All we have control over is our reaction to life and our outlook on life and it's about time that we realised that our reactions don't always have to be positive in order to have a positive impact on our lives.

What is your purpose?

What are you passionate about?

Why are you here? What drives you?

These are the questions I address with each of the guests on the podcast, but what about you? Do you have answers to these questions? Or do they make you a little nervous because you're unsure of why you're here? And if you're unsure, how do you find these answers?

Well today's episode addresses this questions of purpose and its relevance to you.

Purpose by its very definition is a reason for action. For me life is about living. Life isn't about simply showing up aimlessly day in day out, life is about choosing where you will be, how you will live and what impact you will have on those around you and the world. Purpose gives your life meaning and meaning gives your existence life.

Today hear about the 4 steps it takes to finding your purpose and how addressing these will add passion and fulfilment to your life.

This week on the podcast, Jane discusses luck. Is there such a thing? Or is it up to make our own?

Luck is where opportunity meets action and Jane is here to tell you that if you want to be lucky you get to be. Through passion, determination and hard work you get to create the opportunities to have it all.

Sep 19, 2016

This week on the podcast, Jane can't stick to one topic so luckily you get a snapshot of three! "Where are you going?", on how Google Maps is discouraging us from not only getting lost (duh), but also looking up and enjoying the journey. This is obviously a pretty clear metaphor for life and something we can learn a lot from. Look up, take notice of the process and don't simply look to your destination.

The second topic explores gratitude and paying it forward. Acting with gratitude and in service to others not only has the power to change our lives but it has the power to change the lives of those around us and even the world!

I hope you like this episode, it's super close to my heart and hope that it encourages you to live better and happier :)

What is the difference between a goal and an intention?

The why in our life is our intention and today's podcast discusses the relevance and importance of living with intent. Why is this important and why an't we live without it. Enjoy!

“Strength and happiness comes from finding balance.”

Before personal training, Jamie-Lee was a teacher for children with special needs.
While the classroom may seem worlds away from RevoPT, to Jamie-Lee they’re not so different.
In both roles, she helps people realise their best selves – something that takes patience, understanding, communication and trust.

She moved into training after using exercise as a personal stress-relief that offered mental and physical results. When people started asking her for advice, she knew she’d found a new career. With clients that range from their 20’s to their 70’s, Jamie-Lee doesn’t have a set training style. Her focus is on using your individual strengths and goals to create a tailored program that suits you.

Exercise has changed Jamie-Lee’s life. After spending years helping others find their best-self, she took the time to find her own and believes that’s a feeling everyone deserves.

Hope you like it!

You have a choice every, single day.  You get to choose every morning when you wake up how you will approach your life; what your perspective is; what your outlook is; what your reality is - all your choice.

What are you choosing now?

Shifting your mindset can be tough and to do so, you've got to take action and step outside your comfort zone. No change or growth comes from within your comfort zone, so put a little faith in yourself. Address your attitude, get outside your comfort zone, take action, live.
